Friday morning we had to be up at 6 (again missing the free breakfast because it starts at 8) to catch a taxi to take us to the bus station where we would travel from Dublin to Galway to Shannon on a bus tour of the Cliffs of Moher.Considering it took us 2 1/2 hours to get from Dublin (one side of the country) to Galway (the opposite side of the country), Ireland is VERY small. I'm sure if we had the money we could have driven around the whole country in a day unlike in the U.S where it takes you 24 hours to drive from Illinois to Flordia. We didn't spend any time in Galway, it was just to get bus changes and drivers for the tour since the tour actually started in Galway. But I can still say I've been there :) Our taxi driver was telling us that Galway is the home of the Calaudagh ring and there's a church there that you can visit and get the history on all that. So I'm definitely going back so I can go there. Our tour was an all day tour and we traveled throughout Shannon. Our bus drivers name was Iam and I loved that for about 8 hours straight I got to listen to his accent talk about the different sites we were passing and got to see.

| The Dunguaire Castle. It's a 16th century castle and was home to King Guaire. Now it is home to the renowned Hookers, the traditional sailing boats. |
| Fairy Fort. Fairy trees are considered to be lucky and you can find them because there will be a group of trees together that form a circle. You're not allowed to harm these trees and there is a place that is shown above called The Fort where these trees are surrounding this area and there's a path that's hard to walk through because you're basically walking on all the trees branches that are connected together. |

| Me on top of the start of the Fairy Fort. |
| The Burren. This is a limestone landscape covering 320 square kilometers. It is home to over 70% of Ireland's native flora. |
| Poulnabrone Dolmen. This is Burren's most iconic landmark and was constructed by Neolithic Farmers 5,8000 years ago. |
| Kilfernora Cathedral and Crosses. This place is known as the city of crosses due to the abundance of Celtic Crosses that are in the 6th century monastery. |
| An old church. |

| This is located in Lisdoonvarna and during the month of September single people come here to mingle and meet their match made in heaven. It's a huge deal and I guess a lot of people come to this festival. |
| This is the Funny House. People call this the Funny House because according to our bus driver these people that live here have too much time on their hands to do all the landscaping and other things that make the house look the way it does. Also, when people are looking for the Cliffs of Moher people say just pass the Funny House and go to your right. |

When we arrived to the Cliffs of Moher it was of course raining but there was also really strong winds. Before we got off Iam kept warning us to be extremely careful and to link arms when walking up because these winds are strong enough to push you off and you could come tumbling down the stairs. He said he's seen it happen and that there's always an ambulance there. (He wasn't kidding) He also commented that for those who brought umbrellas, don't use them. This was because even if you were covering yourself from the rain coming down, you were still going to get wet from the Atlantic Ocean splashing against the cliffs. Not to mention that you would also turn into Mary Poppins because the wind would pick you and your umbrella up and fly you away. I hope the pictures below can describe just how windy it was at the Cliffs of Moher.

There was a little museum I guess you could call it after that we got to go through. In there I found out there is this fish that lives around the coast of Ireland called I don't remember, but after a certain amount of years, I think it was ten, it can decide its sex. Weird right? Leaving there, we drove to the Atlantic Coast of Ireland. As I was standing on the edge of a rock looking over at the water I got splashed by the Atlantic Ocean, well we all did. I guess splash was an understatement, we got soaked.
After a long day, 6am -9pm, we still managed to go out that night. We went to the Temple Bar, had some Bulmers, met some nice Irish boys, and listened to Irish men and women sing and play Irish songs on their guitars. My favorite, Galway Girl :)
