So basically, Malaga is BEAUTIFUL. I don't know why they don't send us to here to study abroad because 1. its beautiful, 2. they have lots of public transportation (unlike in Granada) 3. an airport that actually flies in and out of legit places to want to go to 4. it has a university. 5. it has a beach 6. it's warmer (as of right now) and 7. IT'S BEAUTIFUL!

The main reason why we went to Malaga last Tuesday was because we had to fly out of Malaga to get to Ireland because Granada couldn't make our lives easier and just let us fly out of the city we live in and not have to travel two hours to the nearest city with an airport. However, I am now thanking Granada for their lack of transportation because it lead me to the most beautiful city I have ever seen. Everything happens for a reason.

| Malagueta was the name of the beach we were on and it was right on the Atlantic ocean. |

Malaga was the first place that I had to stay at a hostel in. I was nervous at first because it's not like a hotel where you get your own room and room service. No, you share with about 20 other people and sleep on bunk beds. It ended up being so much fun and there was a place where you could lock up your belongings so you didn't have to worry about the other people you didn't know that you were staying with taking them. it only cost 13 euros a night at this one, we got free breakfast, there was a bar in the main area, we had access for free internet, and an opportunity to do laundry. I met a girl from Vancouver who was a big hockey fan. I asked her if she remembered when the Hawks beat them in the semi finals and her response was buying me two Sangrias that night downstairs in the hostel and my nickname, according to her, the rest of the night was "blackhawk". I have never had a drink bought for me by a girl. Guess there's a first time for everything. We weren't planning on going out that night because we had to be up early to make our flight for Ireland. But because I give in to peer pressure easily, in about five minutes I was downstairs drinking in the hostel in my jammies.
